Our Main Meeting Place
- Located on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray and only 3 to 4 minutes extra traveling time past our old meeting venue John Ferneley College, the Ironstone Lodge located at Holwell Pastures Scout Campsite is a fantastic facility for our Cub Pack.
- We also have access to a large outdoor space.
- The gravel area all year round and the fields more during the Summer Term and September.
- With the new Pork Pie Way now opened will make getting to the Campsite even quicker and more accessible for a lot of people.

- Also on occasions we do also meet at different Locations throughout the Year
- In September 2025 the Car Park has had a hardcore resurfacing. This means no more muddy footwear during the Winter Months which has been fantastic and beneficial for everyone
Why we meet at Holwell Pastures Scout Campsite
- Pre the Covid Pandemic before March 2020 as a Scout Group we all met at John Ferneley College
- When we was able to return to face to face sessions in April 2021, John Ferneley College was unavailable.
- We was fortunate to have the availability of Holwell Pastures Scout Campsite and use of the Ironstone Lodge Building.

After 6 Months in October 2021 and seeing the benefits of what the campsite could offer to enable a better Scouting Experience for our Young Members “during this period” the Scout Group choose to make Holwell Pastures Scout Campsite our Regular meeting Place.
- We continue to meet at Holwell Pastures Scout Campsite especially with the new improvements to the car park and the pork pie way road allow quicker travelling time for many.
